Valley Of The ASPE

Since the court case in Pau on 2nd December 1992 declaring the road works illegal, an Environmental Impact Assessment has been carried out. This states that "the improvements to the road and the building of the tunnel do not constitute in any way the key to the survival of the bears"! Work is due to restart on the road in June.
