Jesmond Dene

170 trees, including 200 year old elms and oaks, in Jesmond Dene are threatened by the proposed Cradlewell bypass.

Newcastle EF! are planning to occupy trees to defend them against the bulldozers.

Anyone with experience of tree sitting - advice and tips please!

Baxter Wood, the ancient wood on the River Browney is also under threat from the proposed Durham bypass.

Actions planned.
