Liverpool Timber Ship Blockade

The dirty and murky river Mersey is soon to be the scene of the next British action against the importation of tropical "dead rainforest" timber.

It is the first action for the recently formed Merseyside Green Action/ Earth First! group. There will be accommodation, workshops and opportunity to express general outrage and contempt for the murderers and criminals of the international timber trade. A briefing pack is available for groups and individuals interested for the action on the 27th of February.

We need as many people as possible to make the campaign snowball. Linda Chalker, minister for overseas development, has her constituency nearby. Please try and make it.
